Position: OF Bats: L Throws: L College: Maine Resides: Shelton, CT Emma Larke had no problem making the jump to the Stratford Brakettes last summer. As a matter of fact, she came within a few at bats of winning the team batting title. This is her third year in the Brakettes organization, starting on the Junior Brakettes in 2019. During that span she has refined her game, both offensively and in the field. The former two-time All-State outfielder at Milford's Lauralton Hall in 2017 and 2018, Emma played predominantly left field for the Brakettes. Possessing outstanding speed and an accurate arm, she had no trouble chasing down and making the put out on several line drives. An adept slap-hitter, Emma was nearly impossible to throw out once her bunts or high-hoppers hit dirt. A starting outfielder at the University of Maine, Larke compiled a .468 batting average, third highest among the regulars, with 24 runs scored and 16 RBI. In 2019 she hit .323 with 10 RBI for the Junior Brakettes.
