| Long time Brakettes fan Mark Dempsey has been the Brakettes scorekeeper since 2016 and statistician since 2019. He has been an assistant coach for Trumbull High School since 2019. From 1998-2015 he was an assistant coach with the Stratford Breakers, who won the PONY nationals in Youngstown Ohio in 2007. Mark's daughter Jessica pitched for Stratford High School from 2001-2004 where she was all-SWC for 4 years and all-state in 2004 (playing for head coach Bob Baird). She was also a 4-year starter for Southern CT State University where she made 1st team all-conference and NCAA 1st team all-region. Mark and his wife Barbara live in Stratford with son Bobby. They have two grandchildren, Kaylee and Mark. |
